What's in a name?

"Managed services" is a generic phrase used as a loose catch-all by today's technology trendsetters. Googling "managed services" will scrounge up techy businesses of all types (we're in there somewhere!). Among those in the know, it could possibly even be construed as "cool" to do managed services, and yet, the average visitor to this site, probably doesn't even know what we're talking about. So here goes: managed services is as much a process as it is a philosophy. It's an approach to business IT that shows that technology, managed continually and monitored 24x7 will perform better, will break less, and will usually cost less. On top of all that, we think it's really convenient too- like having an in-house IT staff, except for a fraction of the cost and hassle. There it is in a nutshell. Now go try to use "Managed Services" in a conversation with your friends. Even, if they don't respect you more for it- we will.

How do we do it?

Over the years we have created a unique support model. Let's think ten years ago: if something breaks, you call the local computer guy and he/she drives to your location and hopefully fixes the problem, unless they realized they need another product they didn't have with them, then they have to drive back to pick it up... You get the point- it's inefficient, and those costs in time, and transportation are passed along to you, the customer. The worst part of it is, depending on the severity of the problem, your entire network could be down for the duration of the repair.

We take a different approach, using a combination of 24x7 monitoring, good planning, documentation, and remote remeditaiton we are able to keep your technology running smoother for less money and time. Usually, we're aware of problems long before you are and it takes much less time to correct. Sure, sometimes things can still break(albeit with much less frequency), and we perform onsite visits as well, but even then, we usually know what the problem is before we even show up, so our time is spent more efficiently.

Our Goal

Our goal is simply this: simplifying technology for the end-user. Using our approach, technology costs become a predictable affordable monthly cost instead of an erratic liability- never knowing when things are going to go sour. This is why we get so excited about our managed services for small business package, because we've seen firsthand how much our customers have enjoyed the security of having a full-time partner, a Chief Technological Officer, ensuring the integrity of their network(s).
