A little History

NetManageIT is a Syracuse, New York based solution provider which has been exceeding its client's expectations for almost 15 years. We've always been proud of the level of service we offer, and have worked hard to develop trusting working relationships with our customers. It's an important part of how we do business, and our customers thank us for it. Part of that relationship is driven by a culture of openness between us and the client.

To embody this concept of a "partner in technology" we've created a business model structured around managed services. In essence, this de-emphasizes hourly billing (time and materials) in exchange for a continual hands on approach which uses 24x7 monitoring, remote remediation, and integrated consulting and best practices assessments. Using this process we've been able to save our customers a lot of money, and increase the integrity of their technology and networks at the same time. And we've said it before, it's really convenient- because why would you worry about managing your own technology, if you don't have to?

A truly green business model

With so much buzz these days about being green, it can all start to sound a lot like a bunch of marketing with a generous portion of hype. But what if someone developed a business model that was truly green. Well, we believe we have done just that. Our Managed services model is a revolutionary approach to doing IT, and apart from how managed services can benefit your network, it happens to be great for the environment. Through the more extensive use of remote support, we avoid wasting gas (costs which the customer ultimately absorbs anyway) and we can perform the same task several times faster due to the non-existent commute. Substantially less paperwork is generated due to the use of electronic reporting through which we are able to provide greater detail. And lastly, by outsourcing certain technology processes to us or our partners, you avoid the expense and waste of recreating an internal infrastructure when an external service is already in place.

So will that end global climate change, pollution, and urban sprawl? Probably not, but it's a start, and it's part of our approach to business which is as much or more about what we can do for the world as it is about what we can take from it.
